Incidentally Roman Yitzhaki fans, I saw him having to lay down his button-raised hand to a reraise earlier, although that in itself was not responsible for the loss of a third of his stack. It is mainly an excuse to post this photo.

Incidentally, I feel I should share with you that the Holland Casino is probably the most hallucinatory casino outside of Vegas that I have ever seen.

Exhibit A - Giant staircase with actual red carpet on it. Modeled today by Miss Jennifer Mason

Exhibit B - Inexplicable man in white suit and pink cowboy hat presiding over the proceedings.

Exhibit C - Some kind of Gambling Art collection on the walls, the highlight of which as far as I"m concerned is this lovely dress made out of cards.

Exhibit D - Chandelier made out of coathangers and fairy lights.

Exhibit E - the interesting lighting concept has somehow morphed Andy Black into something demonic. Look at his eyes!

Funny Matey story from Mr. Bradpiece... He hasn"t really played much so far, but Matey on his table went crazy at the end of level one, like so...

Matey fires once on an 8-5-4 board - 600 - called.
Matey fires twice on an 8-5-4-7 board - 1,500 - called.
Matey fires three times on an 8-5-4-7-9 board, this time all-in for 6,500(!).  Called with a set of Nines, and early bath for his A-Q.  Crikey.

Lots of Euros at the top, dwindling to around 10% of the field who get just over their money back.  Er, they will play into the evening some time and then stop.  It will probably be a multiple of 90 minutes.

We don"t know - not a lot of information coming our way, to be honest.

Ramzi Jelassi"s exit involved Kings (again; see: EPT Dublin, Jelassi, Ramzi, Kings lose1 in the Encyclopedia of Exits which I shall be publishing in the new year):  This time down to around 4k he raised to 600 after a gaggle of limpers came in, and received a caller in the cutoff.  The flop came 3-5-6 and he check-raised all in - up against 7-7 and the dirtiest looking out came straight away: 4.  He was looking somewhat disheartened and headed, in all probability, for the airport.

Info from a blogger who"s going the extra mile to prise out some prize pool stuff for you, and us, and all the French people (yes, it"s Benjo, star updater from the other end of the Eurostar):  Top prize (drumroll please) is €600,000, and the total pool is €2.1 million.  Nice.

There is actually a Fourth Chamber we just found up some stairs in the High Roller Niche ... here is where Karl Mahrenholz, Jeff Kimber, Noah Boeken and Nicolas Levi have been hiding, among others.  Just four tables in there, but a lot of interesting play.

Just now Noah Boeken bet out 1k on a  :3s: 6s 5d flop, called by the in-position Mantis.
Turn:  8s  Check-check.
River:  ks  Noah bet 1,600 at this point, and Karl counted out the call pretty swiftly with his  8c 8d, just calling and being rewarded with a glimpse of the Dutch star"s  :3d: 4h.

Photo please? I googled it, but there are multiple bands called Creme Brulee and as far as I can see none of them look like Mr Moustache.
