Have just spoken to Richard, when the 1st tournament was cancelled, those that were unaware of a new tournament being set up and are sat out, please can you post below and the APAT team will liaise with you and Betfair to sort out something in way of compensation.

hmmm talk about a game of AA.

3 hands in level 2

1. I raise pf with AA, Duke calls..... flop xJK, I bet and Duke calls, K on turn, I bet and Duke calls, x on river, I bet and Duke raises..... sigh, fold - he shows KQ

2. I raise pf with AA 2 hands later - blinds fold. FML!!

3. still in level 2 - raise pf with 88... big stack 3-bets and I call in position. Flop 25Q - big stack open shoves for 6k into 1.1k pot - I  tell him he has AK and make the call..... he shows AA.

Conclusion - I hate AA!!!

Just to clarify what happened.  When Betfair set up the tournament originally, they set it up with a 10k starting stack.  This should have been 5k, and they adusted it during the week.  It looks like those players that had already registered kept the 10k starting stack.

This was resolved swiftly by Betfair, and although not a good thing to happen, the tournament is now running correctly.

Apologies to everyone concerned, sometimes mistakes do happen, but I always say, it"s how you deal with the situation afterwards that counts.

Enjoy the tournament.
