This lot aren"t hanging around

Chipleader Fedorov makes it 30,000 in the cut off into Hein, second chipleader"s big blind

He calls

flop  4c 6c 9s

Hein check calls a 70,000 continuation bet from Non Limp Bizkit

On the  js Hein immediately announces "ALL IN", a big overshove

Non Limp Bizkit folds with a smile

Odd way of playing a hand from Hein, what do we put him on there?

Rajko raises in early position, Marillis shoves on the button

80k more into a 130k pot he calls for half his stack with A-9

Marrillis has A-J

It holds, she doubles through

Weeee - go her. More pics please.

Still trying to think of something amusing to write in this bit.

Our chip leaders Martin and Vadim are going to war and have just played another 70k chip pot.

I think a massive pot with these two is due very shortly.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space.

Payout Structure

Decided with the Venue director to use a standard payout structure, with his guidance. No long term reasoning, just easier to sort out this weekend with a lot of runners, and a lot of those (ie 171 out of 180) new to APAT.

An odd [better, imo] pay structure for an APAT event?

????

i think Alan is pointing out that the pay-out structure is not as flat as is usual in the UK based APAT comps.

Usually this is a function of having to fit in with the casino"s requirements.

It"s a matter of taste... I prefer the flatter payouts as it encourages play...but opinions differ.

Any more photies/reports on the Brits? Just in case final play slows down a little ;D

no chance of this for 2 reasons;

a) This final table is moving very fast
b) most of them are in the Old town now drinking

Hardly valid reasons.

180 isn"t a lot of runners for an APAT tourney... and if the regular payout structure is "right", then it should be right every time. We were all "new to APAT" at one point.

Next thing you know they"ll making deals at the final table!
