In ten matchdays, 67 players managed to make a final table, only 12 players scored double figures.
With the exception of Cardiff, if any other team had won the league, some of the players representing them in the GUKPT seats would have won them having made 1 final table all season.
By extending the points on offer, it gives a fairer reflection on teams performances in each matchday.
Volume of players does have an impact on the league, but less so in Division 1, where teams were securing points with just one player on the final table.
The change in scoring is aimed at improving what is already a competitive division. The added value seats on offer are of significant value, and we need to ensure that the scoring system refelects this.
