having a saver bet on AFB to cover your stake on Marcel might be the way to go Wayne.

May 5th Chester
2.10 10f hc
not a race I want to bet in, but the two obvious interests imo are Darshini and American Artist.

2.40 Huxley Stakes
again its a betting swerve. Western Hymn is the one to beat, a case can be made for most the field to win if the favourite fails.

3.10 Chester Vase
US Army Ranger most likely in what really should be called is the O"Brien benefit Vase.

3.45 3yo hc
bloody marvelous lol not the best of races. Ode to Evening at 8/1+ ew might be of betting interest.

5.25 10f hc
the Dascombe pair Newera and The Character are of interest.

not the best punting day imho :-)

I generally keep away from betting at Chester, don"t know why but just don"t like the racing. Would have a small go if was watching it but been at work. Went last year and had a good day (apart from the betting) and would go again for the social side but not as a punter.

its always good to know where you are profitable Wayne.

6th May Chester
2.10 7f cls2 hc
Arnold Lane @7/1  2point win
Hillbilly Boy @7/1  1point win
Glenalmond @10/1  1point win

2.40 Dee Stakes
no bet, Linguistic looks like he"ll improve on his Newmarket run lto. Gosden was going to aim him at the Dante, interesting change of route.
