a fair few non-runners today, in the 1.40 Nakuti and Hot Coffee should handle conditions the best... in the 3.15 Supplicant,No Leaf Clover,The Hooded Claw,Kickboxer,Charles Molson and Golden Steps look the more likely... with a gun to my head i"d side with Supplicant based on his 2yo form at Newbury when he beat Rufford and Hot Streak in the group2 mill reef, 20/1 is to big imho...

York 11th July

2.20 - Summer Stakes
Ladies Are Forever @5/1  1.5point win
Joyeuse @9/2  1.5point win

Don"t forget EMERALD STAR 7/1, could be a back to back victory. 2f fewer distance must be no disadvantage. Imo a must in any combined bet.

Newmarket 12th July

3.50 - July Cup
Slade Power @5/2  4point win
Due Diligence @5/1 2point win
Astaire @16/1 1point win

given ground conditions Slade Power won"t have no problems plus he"ll have Noozhoh Canarias to give him a tow from the high side of the draw..
a couple of savers were in order, Due Diligence is improving and there"s no indication from his action or the form book that he"ll be hindered by conditions... Astaire and jockey Neil Callan get on well with other and like lto at Ascot he will be leading the low drawn horses.. he needs cut in the ground so it won"t surprise me if he makes all to win plus his middle park win last year is a positive.. [just :)]
if they all converge and come down the centre then it"ll favour Slade Power all the more....
