good luck Wayne there"s some good racing at York in store. The Dante will give some Derby clues as to where US Army Ranger stands who wasn"t as bad as the Ch4 ""EXPERTS"" made out imho.

11th May York

2.40 6f hc
God Willing @16/1  1point win
George Dryden @8/1  1point win

3.15 Duke of York
Goken @33/1  1point win
Eastern Impact @16/1  1point win

the 2.10 is a no bet, Spanish Squeeze and Pacify look the ones to beat.
in the 3.45  So Mi Dar will more than likely give Gosden another win in this race. Fireglow looks the danger but the market looks priced up about right imho.

Lamato but missed the best prices 9/2

Regards Limato I can"t think of to many four year olds winning a Lockinge having mainly campaigned as a sprinter at three years old. Plus he"s never raced over a mile and he"s running with no prep, big ask/training miracle required imo for Mr Candy to win with Limato today.
Other contenders -
Kodi Bear has won a group2 mile but on a sharp track and bombed out at Ascot nto at his maiden attempt of a group 1. First time out today I"m willing to take him on.
Endless Drama was second in a poor Irish Guineas half a length ahead of Ivawood, I"ll take him on.
Belardo is a 7f horse imo who"s rather overrated by the official handicapper for his proximity to Solow. Added to that James Doyle jumps ship to Toormore after Sandown lto.
Dutch Connection 2nd in the Prix Jean Prat with Kodi Bear well beat but has been beat by Toormore over 7 and 8f has a fighting chance with Buick in the saddlle.
Mahsoob to short odds wise and surely to sharp distance wise.
Gm Hopkins is out of his depth.
Arod third last year may not improve on that given the ground being on the soft side of good, tempting each way poke though.
Euro Charline has a good jockey aboard and a sex allowance but I"d be doubtful of her relishing the slower ground conditions to Meydan.

Toormore for me, decent group 1 form, 2nd last year from a wide stall having to come across forfeiting ground to Night of Thunder. Plus this years four year olds need to improve significantly imo. All in all reliable in form trainer with a good record in this race, consistent horse with a good jockey.

Good luck today Wayne and anyone else having a punt today.

15th May Deauville
3.20 Poule D"essai Poulains (French 2000 Guineas
Zarak @3/1  4point win
Zelzal @5/1  2point win

in the fillies 1000 guineas Besharah with Christophe Soumillon riding has a squeak, but with no 8f form to speak of I"ll pass over. The rest of the field look priced up about right.
Alice Springs gets a tentative vote even though the French have had a lock on this race in recent years.
Negatives on some of the leading contenders - Come Alive has to overcome inexperience, Qemah has only done best when tackling a bend.
Jean-Claude Rouget will surely look to set up a strong pace with one of his three runners and fingers crossed a stamina test will suit Alice Springs.

The French 2000 Guineas hasn"t had a twice raced horse win for quite a while now. Hence why the odds seem quite generous about my two picks, but I"m going with what my stopwatch is telling me.

1.50 Redcar

If you see the race tell me what you think of "I Call The Shots"

Not going to do anything in this race but should improve a lot for the run.

Cologne, German 2000 Guineas

Knife Edge - Trainer: Marc Botti, Jockey: Ryan Moore

I think hard to beat. From our german horses Millowitsch is the one and Ive heard that Noor Al Hawa has improved a lot since his last race.

For value: Filly PARVANEH vs colts.
