From Stars Blog

3.55pm: Mary, Mary quite contrary

Mary Martin is playing a quiet and considered game allowing the big stacks around her to get involved. Probably a sensible strategy all things considered. Richard Chadwick has taken the other approach and has raised the last two pots. He took the blinds in one and passsed to a Max Silver shove in the other. -- RD

From Stars Blog

4pm: Girl on girl action

Mary Martin and Suzanne Pyefinch just played two pots in a row. In the first Martin raised under the gun to 26,000 and was called by Pyefinch from the big blind. Both players checked the T?Q?9? flop. On the 9? turn Pyefinch bet 25,000 and Martin called. The A? fell on the river and Pyefinch bet 30,000 and Martin folded. The second was a simple raise and take with Pyefinch raising to 32,00 from the small blind and Martin folding. Pyefinch showed the A? "I don"t want to knock you out, you"re a girl," said Pyefinch to Martin. "Soft play again?""quipped Max Silver. "I told you I"m going to be the first female winner {of the UKIPT}," added Pyefinch. -- NW
