I met a wonderful man who grew to be my best friend and after 6 years of getting to know each other, we married and moved to Bristol (UK) from Cleveland (USA). That was in August of 2007, and we have had three wonderful years together. I enjoyed working and playing poker in Bristol, but my job relocated me to Manchester June 2010. (As some of you that know may already be aware). I am rubbish playing online, sincerely, but I may have to start playing online more to fill in the gap because after several enquiries and some digging, I simply cannot find a local "Home Game" group at all. I worry that I would ever find one that comes close to measuring up to the South West Group from the Bristol area, but would be keen to get involved in a small familiar group.
In the meantime, I decided to open a meet-up page and plan a few home games using the same ethos as the South West Group I so admire, and I would hope to see a local network of home games grow here.
Unless I am missing a local group in North West you guys could point me towards?
