If not I"d probably limp pre also but with more chips in play I"d probably raise

I"d lead for half pot bet pre flop but the flat call gives me alarm bells automatically thatched has a 4. Pessimist in me I suppose. Then I"m hoping to get there cheap and hopefully check it down. If he bets turn I"m probably folding unless it"s really cheap.

Your flop bet got you all the info you need IMO!  Your big bet didn"t scare him off!

The antes were 25 and we were 9 handed. And thanks again for all your feedback, hopefully it will make me a better player.
