oops I haven"t had a call
I"ve just talked to the manager of the ICON hotel and she confirmed that they have no problems and no guests are getting moved to other hotels.
You may be able to enter on the day as an alternate but, at the moment, AFAIK it is sold out. There MIGHT still be a few seats available but that"s just a rumour at the moment.

driving home FTW!! cheaper, less hassle, less chance of being moved to a new location, less chance of being flooded out!!Sleeping bag and change of clothes in the boot just in case......Can"t have a drink.... but hey that might help the poker! And best of all, probably home in time for X-factor! (hmmmm perhaps a good reason to book a hotel after all then)
After talking to the Days Inn again it appears they DO have a flood. I have managed to wangle a room however so someone else will be getting a call...hope its not one of you lot

Actually this did cross my mind too Jon, I may have soggy knickers this weekend
