Has anyone managed to get somewhere half close to the casino.As i am flying down i dont want to be to far away,as taxi fares mount up.

Seems crazily busy that weekend for some reason...

I"m in the Arora International, seems to be in the centre of Manchester, about 2 miles from the Casino. Not the cheapest (£145 I think), but looks reasonably nice, and had to pick something half decent to persuade the missus to come down with me to keep me company... Even that is sold out on most sites, I got it on LateRooms.com...

When "Manure" play at home most of the hotels will be booked up......as only about 1% of them come from Manchester!  ;D

if any one is going by train i got a great deal from virgin for me and my girlfriend 75 pounds return (for both)
