Congratulations to Monday"s Freeout winners

Congratulations to Wednesday"s Rebuy winners

What happened to the congratulations to Tuesday"s winners, me thinks there is favouritism?

Unfortunately, Ongame were doing maintenance in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  This meant that the Tuesday tournaments were no longer in the lobby.

Well done to whoever you are that qualified.   ;)

Don"t forget to use your tickets and buy into the exclusive satellite holding tank.  It is open now.

Tuesday.......meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!  ;D

Fri is a £20 +£5 DCFO 2 x 3000 chips. 20 min blind levels. Normally this has approx 50 runners, though it will almost certainly more than double that due to people like yourself!

I will mention to the card-room managers that loads of extra players are likely to turn up on the Fri and see if they can get extra dealers in as they usually have only 3 or 4 cash games on and they will almost certainly need more cash games open.

Only been to Cov G once - played a £50 tourney with an £8 reg fee, and it was self dealt, although there were two tables used for dealer training. I dealt my first table for three hours, and didn"t even get my glass of coke for free! Then when moved to a dealer table, ended up having to sort the all in side pots for the dealer as she didn"t have a clue.  £8 reg fee well spent.

I"m guessing your visit was a while ago. Things have improved since the G group took over the casino. They still don"t have ALL tourneys dealer dealt but they have taken on a lot of part time dealers and run some very good comps now.

Pick of them is Tuesdays £50 + £6 which has a £5,000 Guarantee and Sundays £25 (+£5 i think) £2,500 Guarantee both are fully dealer dealt.

The card-room managers Carl and Ruben are both very keen and are constantly looking for ways to improve.

Before anyone asks, no I don"t work there but do play there once a week on average.

I"m sure any first time visitors for this APAT event will be impressed with the club, though beware if planning on arriving Friday as the Fri night comp is NOT dealer dealt. Though on the positive side all soft drinks are free!

Being dragged up there tonite for the Sunday supposedly dealer dealt comp

Will be interesting to see if things have improved since my last visit in July

Glad to say tonights advertised dealer dealt tourney was indeed that.

In fact a much better enjoyable experience than previous visits.

Feeling much more positive about the place now :)

As I mentioned in my earlier post G Cov are always looking for ways to improve. They have just introduced a really clever idea for it"s cash games.

The first 4 players to sit at a table DO NOT pay rake from any pot they win all night.

This means games get started much earlier as this is a real bonus. Good for the casino, great if you"re one of the four!

There will be a 2nd holding tank up going up for further additional seats, so you should be okay.  Won"t be for a week or so.
