poker in birmingham

travelling for conferences to birmingham - will be there this saturday and sunday night. anyone know of any good tournaments? deep stack preferable

Check out the schedule for the Broadway casino (middle of Bham)..... if I remember correctly, they run a £30 Double Chance Freezout (2x3000) on a Saturday night that used to get around 120 runners....

i"m up in Brum tonight to meet a friend and probably play the tourny at the Broadway, so come and say hi if you spot me: Won"t be difficult, i"m a six foot tall woman with long red and blonde hair - natural obviously ;)

Yes the Broadway is best. (my favourite place to play poker). Fully dealer dealt comps and terrific cash games.

As it happens myself and a dozen or so people who regularly post on the Eat My Stack and Stake A Shark poker forums will be there tonight for a get together. You know them as they"ll all (bar me) be drunk as skunks.  ;D

o well . i"ll be there again tonight. hopefully i"ll get donkey to put in all his chips in  like last night, A6 VS A T on a A 6 J flop. i was BB no raise pre. bet re-raise all-in call. happy days- chip leader IF i gret through. J on the turn. oops back to the hotel, up in the morning fresh for my conference
