Saturday night was classic - enjoyed it lots. Especially watching Deb serenading the APAT guys... huge laughs. Then she goes and invites Surinder Sunar around for tea and he says he"ll cook us a curry WTF! There"s me and Andy O dribbling and talking to him about old school Late Night Poker (plus moustaches) and she"s got him cooking tea. LOL anyone for a sit and go round ours? Scouse did you get your bag and a wash in the end?  :D

THAT had me in stitches!  Was like watching two school girls who had a massive crush on the local jock.  He"s just a guy - so gather yerselves at the home game FFS!  LOL

Too many names to mention, so thanks everyone.  xx

I agree with so much on this thread, too many to quote.

Best APAT weekend for me, so far.  Topped by Ian getting Silver.  (Will he ever stop grinning?)  Had a blast hanging out with so many of you who have become great friends.

I was a little disappointed that I was unable to do more updates, but as you are all aware, the connection was terrible and I just couldn"t get Ian"s lap top to log in.  Enjoyed railing instead.  Glad I could help you Jeldon,  hope I can do the same next time.  I have to admit that whichever table you are on there are smiles all round.  No "poker" faces.

Ok, so I got lost in the bathroom, (long story, and wine was involved),  but at least it gave Ian something to talk about instead of his medal.

Thanks again APAT staff for yet another great event.

Great job Ian   xxxxx

It was rather sad.

Me - Errrrm, hi Surindar, errm, my names Andy, i used to watch you on Late Night Poker, you"re one of the reasons i got into the game, gush, gush.

Andy D - So, Surindar, how come you got rid of the moustache?

Debs - So, fancy coming round ours for a curry?

:) :) :)

Congrats to Andy D on winning the Stud, and again to Tod for the main event. Has anyone mentioned it was a BCPC double yet?  ;)

jh  6c  - The new NUTS!

PS - If anyone"s going to the bar, mines a shot of Sambuca!  Dan Owston is paying.   :)

Another thank you from me! My first APAT live event and I had an absolute blast! Despite a painful bad beat in the ME I had a really good evening playing some Sit N Go"s and just enjoyed the atmosphere and people!

A special mention to fellow Luton Players Omar, JP, Richard, Will and others at the SnG who made it really enjoyable (and donated to the winnings too!). And a special thanks to Tighty for making me so welcome on Saturday when I turned up nervous and clueless!

Hoping to make it to Coventry!

Ah ha ha ha! Cracking dealer we had there! ;)

And true to form, Sunday dinner was Lamb wit hall the trimmings and a home made apple pie! Just what was needed after crawling in the door at 3am! Worse than the walk of shame that was!! And of course you are all welcome anytime!!!

Think me and you have a VERY different interpretation of high value!  :)

They weren"t even worth playing for comedy value when a bit drunk. And five quid for the "privilege" of having a dealer who couldn"t deal!

As drunk as I was I actually asked the dealer why we were paying £50 for a single table SnG in juice. I agree with Andy on this one, but it was good fun to see said dealer pass him the pot and then for Andy to lose it twice. 1st the pot and then his patience (admittedly quite dignifiedly.......if that"s a word  ???)

Mums dinners FTW apparently  ;D
