This was a London Poker Circuit event and there first superstack. There were about 150 runners,,20k starting stack, top 15 paid.First was about 7k,,,first day played down to 50.
The blind structure wasnt great, went up 2 fast.On day 2 the average stack was 62k and the blinds were 2k/4k with a 400 ante which meant it was virtually all in or fold.Hopefully they will learn from this event and next time the blind structure will be better. But the venue is great (kensington close hotel and spa) and the next superstack should be well worth a visit.
I came about 30th,,pushed on small blind with QQ and called by big blind with AJ,,first card out,,,the ace lol.Saw a couple of apaters there and when i left James Barber was still in and on about 120k.So good luck to him.
