OK this was NOT easy but the team to represent the APAT community in Bolton is, in no particular order:-

Steve Roderick
Stuart Oliver
Jack Prime
Brendan Byrne
James Edwards
Ian Burnett
George Bedi
Paul Pitchford

Can I just take a moment to thank everybody who sent me a PM or asked to be a part of team APAT. I know everybody has said it but I could have picked 3 teams from the names here. There were people who I didn"t pick, some of whom are long time supporters of APAT, who I know would have LOVED to represent APAT and would have done a fantasic job of it. I honestly wish they could have been part of the team too.

In the end I had to make a decision and after a lot of time spent looking at peoples results at poker, their contribution to the APAT forum and overall contributions to APAT over this season and previous seasons I made what I believe to be the correct impartial choice. Whilst it is unlikely anybody will agree 100% with me, knowing the community within APAT you will all either be at the event playing for your own team hoping to prove me wrong :-) or be supporting team APAT to win the lot in Bolton. I hope as many of you as possible are there.

To the other seven members of the team. I have made what I honestly believe to be the right choice. This team really does feel like an APAT team which was one of my main goals. I know every one of you will be well up for this and be ready to represent team APAT with pride, in the way we would all want APAT to be represented. There are some really tough teams in this competition but I have not yet seen anything to match the list of names we have posted above (although Leigh has yet to announce the Champions team which could be sick). We have pressure on us because we will start as favourites but all of us has shown that we can run deep and have the bottle to do it when the pressure is on. Now with the whole forum and APAT community behind us we have to do it again in Bolton.

Let"s get this thing won.

Excellent line up - very capable of defending the title, but I sincerely hope they come second.... :D

Great choices Steve - Good Luck to Team APAT!
