Glad to see the ideas are being well received.

Remember too that Harrahs is steps away from Casino Royale &/or O"Sheas both of which are renowned for being cheap and cheerful places for laughs and low-priced (even for Vegas) beers so those are other options for the ones who are willing to walk more than 50 feet.

  • Vague memories of being in Vegas
I

The poker room at TI has always been a little tricky.

Made trickier by the fact that Glenn wouldn"t leave the bar after getting embroiled with a couple of locals :)

i didnt do too well in the tourney that night. Not a good sign ehen the bloke sat on your right has to shake you and say "wake up mate its your turn to act".

O"Sheas is going (or moving) as Harrahs have a planned developed in that area.

If it"s still there in November I think we need a APAT Beer Pong event.

The search has just restarted for flights and accommodation for this :)

If anyone has come across any deals for 4 star and better hotels appreciated. Looking at Aria atm, and a total package price of a little over £1600 for me and the wife from Glasgow on 15th Nov, returning 22nd.

Off to research booking flights and hotel individually now...

They will have up to 30 days prior to your event date to make their reservations before the block is closed and remaining rooms are released.

This is all the information that I have so if you have any further questions regarding your reservation, please ask the reservation agent when you call.

Please note no-one has ever managed to make the link work but I believe that there is a UK number you can call to make the booking rather than making a transatlantic call.

Looks like BA will do flights from GLA via LHR for c.£650pp

Flights at around £500 each leaves about £600 for hotel.

We have flights booked and are looking around £750 for Venetian.

Stayed at Caesars last time and it was great although we did have an upgrade and basic rooms are getting really bad reviews on tripadvisor etc.

I have the link working after three browser refreshes.

Decent looking deal if you are willing to be there for the 11 days. We plan to only be there for 6 or 7 days.

Cheapest one being considered is 6 nights at Monte Carlo for £1180 but that is with 20 hour + flights.

7 nights at Aria for £1630 with 2 stops each way (18hrs) is looking good but is bordering on over-budget.

Still trawling...

Can"t you fly direct from Glasgow these days Neil?

Aria is a stunning hotel BTW.

Have you looked into separate flights/hotel yet?

You don"t have to book for the whole period they specify. You can just book the days you want.

You might think so but the final stage never seems to go through.
