Now sitting in Mings in The Venetian for an oriental breakfast. Played the $340 deepstack here yesterday and managed to make day 2. There are 18 left with blinds at 4000/8000/1000 ante. I have 166k and the average is 204k, so have a chance. Guaranteed 1k so good news for those that staked me, and thanks again for that. Steve Dannerman who came 2nd to Joe Hachem in the WSOP ME in 2005 was busted in 25th. Feathers and cap spring to mind.

Had a burger with messers Owston and McGuiness when they arrived last night and the excitement is certainly building prior to the main group arrival on Thursday. the weather is mid 60"s and sunny and not too cold at night. Shorts are in force so ladies beware. One thing I would say for those due here soon is get some lip salve as it is so dry here and lips crack very quickly.

for those of you on the Virgin Nov 17th flight from Manchester to.. well uhm, I dunno, maybe... VEGAS! a few of us are looking at booking a stupid size limo to get us to and from the airport.

There are 3 spaces left at $25 each. This is a return trip and includes all fees (that I am aware of) and provides for the obligatory tips as well.
