...If your bragging about Ians medal then why shoul;dn"t I have a brag about mine  :P And, before you say anything.... Yes, mine was only bronze and his was silver on that day!! Where"s Todd to play his top trump? (gold)  ::) ...

Brag away, Colin - a medal at an APAT event is a great achievement, regardless of the colour  ;)

That"s not what Henry Kellys tells me.  ;D

Oh No....Now he"ll start again.

Wasn"t bragging.   It was more a sarcastic remark, after listening to Ian "reminding me" again and again about his medals.....lol

And behind door number 23 is............................

Betfair Poker are currently running some festive added value tournaments, and although it"s late for an APAT Advent Calendar Competition, we"re going to add some value to tonight"s tournament.

The tourney is the "One shopping day left Turbo" at 8pm.  It"s a $10+$1 NLHE Turbo event with 20 x $50+$4 tourney tickets added to the prizepool.

On top of that, we"ll add some APAT last longer value.  Whichever APAT member lasts longest in the tourney will win an APAT hoodie.  Whichever APAT member lasts longest without winning any of the Betfair added ticekts will get an APAT T-Shirt.

All you need to do is register for the tournament, and post on here to claim your prize if you think your finishing position is a winner (Prizes definitely won"t make it to you for Christmas  ;) )

And behind door number 24 is............................

One thing about APAT, it is always guaranteed to put a smile on my face, every single day of the year.

We can be a miserable bunch at the poker table at times, but the weekend is far more fun if you give a smile.

Of course, there"s always one.   ;)

Mod Edit..snipped really long and unnecessary quote yeah totally agree  ;D Cheers

To be honest Leigh I"m sure mine was a nervous smile as I surveyed my potential table opponents and discovered Alan McBride, Rupinder Bedi and James Edwards to my right and Gary Peniket a few seats to my left.  I might also add, that i can"t fail to tip my hat to James, who was involved in the first 2 pots of Saturday with good cards, the second hand running his AK into my AA on a K high rainbow flop. He shipped a fair percentage of his starting stack within those 2 hands and still made it to the cash on Sunday, fantastic play James and very well done  8)

I really hate that pic of me at Coventry, was hoping it was going to disappear into poker oblivion - thanks Leigh. I blame you for not letting me pose  ;D
