Right at the start of the video, there is a woman walking backwards appearing on the right of the screen.........lol        ( they obviously ran it backwards for the video, but it looks really funny)

And behind door number 21 is............................

APAT tv

It"s caused a lot of discussion this year, but whichever way you look at it, there"s a whole new dimension created for those sat at home railing an APAT event.

When you are relying on technology, it can be totally hit and miss.  Wifi signals, or 3G signals, have all meant that we have had an intermittent service at times, but when it"s been working, it does the trick.

Not that we would know.  As it"s all streamed live, so we have to take the word of those at home watching.  And if you weren"t at home watching then you missed out on lots of chat, such as :-

Tighty naming every possible Everton player that Carl Lybert should win the Welsh event on behalf of.

Des and myself discussing whether the cupping of testicles at a final table is a sign of a strong hand.

The guess what chocolate bar Maylis had bought in Aberdeen.

The Tikay interview at DTD, and the Rob Yong one for that matter.  Great insights.

The lovefest that was James Edwards and Martyn Sharp, commentating on the final table in Coventry.

Oh, and any Tighty singing that you may have heard along the way.

Much thanks must go to the technical wizardy of James Roberts throughout the season, he even managed it one handed in Luton.  Top Man.

And as for Maylis, she"s really become part of the team, and has befriended most of you on Facebook by now.   ;)

What happens with APAT tv for next season, well, we"ll have to wait and see.

As long as it doesn"t effect the forum updates (due to lack of staff) I think the live stream is a great asset.

When Ian (Haworthbantam) was winning his medals (sorry...Had to get it in there) the kids were at home and thought it was fantastic that they could rail him.

Great job guys.

Live stream was great, especially in Luton when my nephew watched while doing his university work. He seen my interview when I started as DAY 2 CHIP LEADER and also when I picked up my MEDAL  ;D

If your bragging about Ians medal then why shoul;dn"t I have a brag about mine  :P And, before you say anything.... Yes, mine was only bronze and his was silver on that day!! Where"s Todd to play his top trump? (gold)  ::)

Excelent work to all who do.
(Luton 2010 Bronze Medal Winner)

GOLD MEDAL COMING IN 2030

Brag away, Colin - a medal at an APAT event is a great achievement, regardless of the colour  ;)

The lovefest that was James Edwards and Martyn Prime, commentating on the final table in Coventry.

It was Martyn Sharp :)

Though I do dream of a love-fest with Thinker. Perhaps in Bolton?

Yeah great that people actually get to see what"s happening when you"re away and they"re back home. Think my girlfriend - for the first time ever - actually had a bit of interest in the game thanks to my appearance and Maylis" commentary on the feature table at Coventry.

James and Maylis seem to be doing a wonderful job by all accounts so more of the same for season 5 would be the biz  8)

Funny that.

I thought about making sure I spelt Martyn right, and then go and type a different surname.

I"m putting that down to a serious case of man flu affecting my ability to type, or think straight for that matter.

The advent calendar could go seriously downhill for the last three days at this rate.   ;D

And behind door number 22 is............................

We"ve a number of regular bloggers on the APAT forum.  Some blog more often than others, some blog about poker, some blog about themselves, some blog about anything that comes into their heads or they witness in day to day life.

If Chris Ferguson can do it, so can I - The blog with more name changes than I care to remember

Duke attempts the Impossible - Be warned, just be warned

swinebag"s blog - proof that teachers have too much time on their hands!! - Needs updating please Rob.  It"s a great read.

In the beginning - If you"re a bit Nosey

Tales of the Honeybadger - Some good sports stuff here

The road to poker redemption - aka I was an APAT Champion, then it all went wrong  ;)

The Perils of Paulie - It isn"t just APAT events Paulie travels to

Maylis"s Diary-includes private photos taken on my phone from the weekend - The most cleverly named blog title to make you read it to only find out that the photos are mostly of APAT players in the bar afterwards.

And something for the future that may just be excellent

Grant"s Glasgow Banter - No pressure then
