I work as a chartered accountant and tax consultant - 30 years old and currently single.
5 - WHAT IS YOUR POKER BACKGROUND?
Started playing home games with my mates and then started playing/watching poker night live on one of the minor sky channels. Played a regular monthly tournament with a group of pro rugby league players which was great fun. Been playing regularly for about 2 years now.
Never really been a scholar of the game in terms of reading book, just prefer to learn through experience.
6 - WHAT IS YOUR PLAYING STYLE?
I like to think i am adaptable - but i am usually aggressive and capable of changing gears.
7 - WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE POKER PLAYER AND WHY?
I love to watch Gus Hansen in tournaments and i think that Sam Farha is awesome in HSP. Also think Roy Brindley is a much underrated player.
8 - WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE ONLINE POKER SITE AND WHAT IS YOUR POKER ID THERE?
Deanp27 on microgaming (Royal Card Club) - i just win loads of tournaments there for some reason!
9 - WHAT ARE YOUR POKER ACHIEVEMENTS?
I think my best achievement was making at least one 4-figure MTT cash per month for 12 months running. Won a few live tournies and took down the Walsall £20 freezeout during the APAT final table winning £520, when 3 handed the other 2 gave up and gave me first prize (due to the size of my chipstack)
10 - WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE ABOUT LIVE POKER CURRENTLY, THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?
Local casino tournaments are just badly structured and organised donkfests, or really expensive.
11 - HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT APAT?

12 -WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT APAT TOURNAMENTS, STANDARD OF PLAY AND STRUCTURE?
Great quality structure and orgainsation. On the whole the standard is high with some sublime and ridiculous plays thrown in
13 - HAVE YOU PLAYED AT AN APAT LIVE EVENT AND IF SO, WHAT WAS MOST MEMORABLE ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE?
Played 3 - Cardiff, Luton and Walsall. Not really run my way so far, a couple of bad beats and very few good situations but my time will come and when it does watch out!
Most memorable was me folding Q3 in SB when 5 people limp in at level 1 (i hardly ever fold anything in SB here) and flop comes QQQ - i desperately try and get my cards out of the muck!
I like the friendly spirit and atmosphere around the tournies

Rugby League - along with boxing the toughest sport around.

Read enough books for work but did enjoy "Are you Dave Gorman" by Dave Gorman.
Always loved The Blues Brothers as a film
