Good to meet you Grant over the weekend. Did you like my speech play with the quad Queens ;). I'm not talkative at the tables unless I really know the person so the next time we meet I will be more sociable.

:D Yeah....Wayne "think we have the same hand" Parker, very glad I had an underpair and didn"t have the ace so was easy for me to throw mine. Was a great weekend mate and also good to meet you. All went badly downhill for me with that seat of doom 2 to your left. I was desperate to get a hand against either one of them and got nothing but muck for hours  till I flopped that flush against Alan. You played well mate, got some nice hands, picked your spots well and built your stack nicely through Saturday. Hope to join tables again soon, at least now we"ve met properly  8)

Currently on a 10 hour nightshift, which is now 11 hour nightshift thanks to the wonders of BST and clocks moving back. Hands up if you love outdated practices  ::)

F****ng fuming right now coz of 888, who despite almost a full season of our online league, still don"t seem to be able to get the start time right for this on a Sunday night. I did 11 hours nightshift last night, slept most of today then log on at 5 minutes to 8 to play for the Glasgow team, only to find I"ve missed the first hour and been blinded down to just over 10 BB"s. This is meant to be a professional business so get a grip FFS  >:(

Just finished 4th in $7 97 runner Omaha game on 888, was going along nicely till I ran my flopped set of Queens into a flopped set of Kings and went down to 14k, clawed my way back up to almost 35k then went out on this sicko lol

Serious question as I"m inexperienced in Omaha, can you lay that down on river when he"s more or less put you all in?

Cheers Stu, no preflop raise so was only putting him on J/10, J/2 10/2 etc and believed I had hime beaten. Thanks for your reply.

Also finished 9th in a 98 runner $6 game afterwards but got it in good on the turn with a flopped set and was rivered by a straight. Very happy to cash in 2 Omaha tourneys in a row and could"ve had different results in both so must be doing something right now in the 4 card head hurter  ;)

Well done to each and every one of our team, particularly Phil, who like me was just clawing and grinding his way through the points with fewer chips and definitely took a few for the team. He got very unlucky when all in with AQ v A6 down to around 30 players, but again had luck against him when he had to chop with a double paired board  ::)

Just read this mate, thank you and a huge kiss from me  :-* we both ran as deep as I think we could considering the stacks we came back with, well played as well mate. Absolute pleasure being in the team with you and also meeting the wonderful Annie Apple, hope she enjoyed the weekend with the rest of us reprobates x

Horrible horrible spot. I can"t fold there and probably go broke.

Is check/call a better line on the river though as you don"t really want to get stacks in with your hand? Does he turn up with two"s full very often here (it"s about the only hand you beat with that action)? He has taken a really strange line if he has that hand as he would have flopped trip twos and should therefore bet out. If he did check the flop with just trip two"s then he may flat the turn but if he is flatting the turn I would expect him to flat the river. Unless he has filled up but even if he did his hand would not really have got that much stronger. I don"t think four"s full beats much with that river action.

I would still go broke though.

Still trying to think of something amusing to write in this bit.
