So matchday 6 has come and gone with a slightly deflating individual result of 16th place having been up around the top 5 chip leaders for a good spell when into the cash. Once into the points and with 100k After flopping a flush against Ross Johnson?Roscopiko (my IOU"s against him are adding up   sorry Ross) ran 10/10 twice into bigger hands (1 seen KK and other folded to on turn), bleeding half my stack in the process. Drifted for a while then got it in with AQ & about 10 BBs left, unfortunately against AK   and my rollercoaster ride came to an abrupt end.

Well done to Chas for his 2nd FT in 2 nights and Ross for his 4th place, both could"ve gone even higher with a little break from those Stars dealers  

More points on the board for the team with 2nd overall and with a 6 point lead after week 6 things are looking good for the Bravehearts. Mon The Scots!!!

Matchday 7 and high hopes before the start. Going along well enough and up to just over 5k, then boom   Get it all in pre with AA v Mark Lassman"s KK and the Pokerstars virtual bar stewards kick me in the chucks once more. 11k pot would"ve had me sitting fairly comfortably but hey ho. Never mind, still plenty of Scots still in for more points

General Observations about Pokerstars after 6 weeks

The APAT league is outstanding
The virtual dealers often take a dislike to me  
You can"t bluff someone who"s paid no attention to the player, board, texture etc  
If they"re in auto click mode, you"re probably getting called with 3rd pair
Aces are never a 4/1 favourite
Zoom poker is mental, fun & lucrative.....but a real kick in the stones when you get it all in pre for 320 BBs with AA v 67os   .....and don"t expect any chat when you bump into a team mate

I still have to resolve my hacking problem with them and they"ve assured me they"re going to phone me tomorrow night, so hope to get this resolved then.

Their software is easy to use and runs smoothly. The staff have been friendly enough and helpful, just not easy to get hold of when you need them.

Up to now it"s been a mixed bag of good and bad but I"ll continue with it, if for nothing else the APAT sponsorship and online league........and probably a bit more Zoom

Had a good time railing Mr Baker last night in the Sunday Storm (until my bed & early rise for work won). What a great performance to finish 34th in a field of 35,000ish. I"m sure he"ll be wondering "what might have been" today, but i for one can only say very well done to the big man. To get that close to then fall before the FT will be pretty gutting but to finish well into the top 1% is a fine achievement  

Well done also to Geo Dickson for an excellent result in the league, helping Scotland hugely to 3rd place and points on the board that we maybe didn"t look like getting for a while. Cheers Geo

No Paul I"m fine, honestly mate. Fault in that hand was the ridiculous raise to 2.20 pre lol. Kinda left me without any play once my flop bets been called. Won most of it back elsewhere and gave up for the night so all good again
