Poor Lad.  One week-end of hotel corridor ramblings and lift struggles - and he"ll never live it down.   :)

As some of you may have heard, the fabulous Dawn "Laxie" Dineen and myself have somehow managed to stumble in to a relationship :) Funny thing is, neither of us really knows how it happened!

We got together up at Newcastle and have become closer as the days have passed since.

As Dawn writes so beautifully I thought it would be nice to keep a record here of our burgeoning romance told from her perspective and copied from her diary on blonde. It"s quite touching in parts...

Incidentally, my first sight of Dawn over the weekend was after the 5-a-side footie, where she"d seen off a bottle of JD! I remember thinking, "this is gonna be messy". How right I was!

So that was that on the poker front.  The rest of the week-end was a mixture of chilling and madness and I had an absolutely brilliant time with most excellent company.  We headed back for Liverpool airport around 8am Monday morning where I caught my flight home and was thrown down on me sofa by 4:30 that afternoon.

And that"s the lot when it comes to the Newcastle report.  Mostly because "you had to be there" for the rest.  As Ger would say...priceless.

Hope you all had a great week-end too.  xx

After being "outed" on blonde for my Bolton antics, Dawn came back with the following:

*Cough...yer secrets are safe with me.  Obv not going to spill the lot on ya because what happens on tour stays on tour.  Mostly.   rotflmfao

After sounding each other out for a few days after Newcastle - I was away on holiday and we were chatting away madly on MSN late at night - we had our "negotiation" night on the Thursday. I"m sure it will be the stuff of legends.

Anyway, the negotiations late into the night finally brought agreement. A few days after, Dawn made the following update.

This week has been such an amazing roller coaster!  Twists and turns I never saw coming that would normally scare the kajeebees outta me.  Well, I was scared if truth be told.  But for some reason I wanted to stick this one out.  And I"m glad I have.  Life sure is strange sometimes.

As Dawn"s friends know, she has a lot on her plate at the moment. It seems I may have helped her deal with it a little more easily. Dawn, it was an absolute pleasure.

Blimey.  With all the goings on of the past week and a bit I"d forgotten about something serious coming up.  At the end of the day, it"s out of my hands.  Just have to trust in powers that be, hope for the best and carry on.  Only...a couple of weeks ago I wouldn"t have managed that.  I"d have been a ball of nerves curled up on the sofa worrying meself to death.

Then an unexpected angel came along, broke through my shell and has somehow taken my mind off of things I have no control over.  Whether tomorrow is the final page in one of life"s chapters or just another paragraph in that chapter...I know I"ll be ok.  And I owe someone big style for that.  xx
