Two weeks today, Geo & I set off on our odyssey across the north of England, otherwise known as the Coast to Coast. Around 200 miles through some of the best scenery that England has to offer.

We"re going to walk it in 14 days at an average of 14 miles per day with a day off for drunken debauchery in the middle. Ger made enquiries about joining us for a few in Richmond on Sat 10th Sept - all are welcome to join us for a drink if you feel the urge.

We"re wild camping without a tent (what could possibly go wrong?!?!) for the majority of the time with a B&B thrown in every 3rd day or so, so that we can get cleaned up :)

Internet access (via phone) allowing, we"re hoping to post updates & pics along the way. You can follow our exploits over on blonde:

Geo & Jack camp it up on the Coast to Coast

Really, really looking forward to it. It"s going to be epic ;D

Proud of you Jack for the effort you"ve put into this, shame the feet have left you in such poor shape but no shame in realising you can"t put them through any more mate. Sure you"ve got some fantastic memories from the route you covered with Geo, well done to you and good luck to Geo for the remaining walk  8)

We"ll be there.  And we"ll be at the hotel bar the day before too.  The rest is a secret for the next day or two.   ;D

Love all the new blogs that are popping up on this site. Hopefully they will survive and keep getting updated in the new year as I really do enjoyed this section of the forum. Jack get back to updating your"s the only way I know how your DIY and things are going is by reading Dawn"s blog :-)

Now, where was I?

Having just interrogated Dawn, it seems the secret was what the hell we were going to be doing in Vegas

Sigh, the secret was even secret to me because I had no idea what the Vegas plans were.   :)
