Thanks guys.

Interesting format, as they had two London Live! seats to giveaway, so they decided to get a list of interested players, then randomly pair them up and play a freeroll.  Whoever shipped it won a seat for them and their team mate.

Luckily, I got paired up with fellow APATer Mark Porter, you can see his blog here.

Don"t think I"ve met Mark, but will definitely be meeting up in London next month.

The format was great for giving away seats, might look at using it next season.  You play individually, but also effectively have a stake in another player.  Not sure who will have be more nervous on the final table, me or Mark.   ;D

Just binked a royal flush (I think)

Oh to be so laid back you don"t even know if you binked a royal flush or not!  8)

Well played and congrats on the win. Now TID in London!

Was looking on the forum when the Mrs was watching over my shoulder (got to be more carful) when she said "who's this Chipaccrual? He must have a good taste in music"    :D

This deserves more love.  Clearly Mrs P is a big Michael Bolton fan ?

Only just found this thread.  Will keep my eye on it from now on, despite it being a little amateurish.

Just had a conversation with James "JBWorldwide" Barber.

He"s looking forward to Bolton this weekend.  His good lady will be joining him for the Friday night, so best behaviour everyone.

I asked him if he was planning on playing the Betfair Live Event in London.

He said "When is it ?"

I said "Over the valentines weekend."

He said "What ?  Do you think I have a deathwish ?"

I laughed.

He said "We are going to see cirque du soleil on the Saturday, then she"s booked spa treatment for us both on the Sunday"

I laughed a lot more.   ;D

Anyway, the point of the phonecall means I"ve got a driving buddy back from Bolton on the Monday.  It"ll give James a chance to do his nails and stuff whilst I chauffeur him back down south.   ;D

I"d noticed.

I"m not getting to Bolton til Saturday for wedding-related reasons, so can we keep the Irish out of there until AFTER the poker?
