Very well played Leigh - a thoroughly deserved cash. It was great to have the chance to have a proper chat with you. See you at the first APAT game  ;D

I must have been one of the few that didn"t use his drinks vouchers (Ger is gonna hate me  ;D ) over the weekend.

Maybe I took it a bit serious, hence the grumpy looking photos, but I really wanted to do the best I could, as I haven"t played live for quite a while.  And I had a really great weekend, got to catch up and chat with people I"ve met before at APAT's, and also met up with a bunch of new people.

It"s a long road to recovery John.

Ever since that AK v AK hand at Luton in season 3, where that luckbox Stu Ward flopped the nut flush, my game has been in tatters.  I"m taking it one step at a time.

I did play the Sky Poker event in Swansea back in February last year.  I was foolish, it was way too soon to get back at the tables.  Every hand I played, I just pictured my opponent flopping the nuts, and would look up and they would morph into this bearded bloke grinning back at me.  It was horrible.

I think that this is a good step on the road back.  Whether I could ever sit down to play another APAT event is another thing altogether.  The general standard seemed to improve dramatically when I stopped playing, maybe I picked the right time to get out.   ;D
