I"ve played two satellites so far to practice a bit and had trip aces and trip tens beaten by a fullhouse each time where the player has drawn 2 cards.

Is that just normal ?

Results focused FTW!

Odds of improving trips to full house when drawing 2 cards is 15/1 and to quads is 22/1

That was fun.  Finished 837rd out of 3010.

Seemed to be lots of players like me that didn"t know much what they were doing, so a lot of hands boiled down to just luck.

Very enjoyable change of game though.

Got a $22 token, going to try to get in to the ME

Alot of the $22 games are re-buys, not my kind of game

Out in the first round on the TCOOP 6 Shootout

Got heads up, then as seems to be the way, oppo gets rewarded with some luck.

Can"t do anymore than get them in ahead with a 2:1 chiplead.

Battled back after this hand a few times, but momentum kept swinging at the crucial times.

Onwards and Upwards.

I"ve got chills, they"re multiplying

It"s too cold for gardening, it"s too cold for DIY, it"s too cold even to burn the remainder of the garden waste or cut down more of the dead trees.  I"m not going to get away with it being too cold to walk the dogs though, so whilst I wait for Jen to wrap herself up as if we were trekking to the North Pole, I"ve placed a few sports bets for a Saturday afternoon.  All multiples, so who"s going to let me down later ?

Can"t believe QPR, West Brom and Cardiff all took the lead at home and have them managed to lose.

FFS Scotland.  Clearly the bookies knew how many mistakes they would make.  Truly shocking at this level of rugby.  Gutted to be giving this England team some confidence, not good.

Lol at thinking England get any confidence from this.

If we were Canada or Japan then maybe...

Don't take it so seriously, after all, it's just a game.

The biggest -ve change in poker for me recently are the speech play rules that are increasingly being enforced.

My last trip to Vegas was a real eye opener in this regard and after a long chat with the TD in Caesars I concluded you could be penalised for saying just about anything.

I heard of 1 APAt"er who was penalised for saying "have you got a big pair?" but now that I think about it........
