John Murray is allin under the gun for 5k.

It folds round to Steve in the small blind, who asks for a count and says I call, flipping A9.

However, Warren Jones is still to act in the BB.  Warren shakes his head, sighs, and goes allin.  Steve calls.

John 55

Steve A9

Warren JJ

The Jacks are good, and we lose John Murray.  Warren gets a double up + about 5k.

I never understand the claim for anyone to be a good shortstacker. It just basically means that they are good at winning flips.

Howdy poker fans!

Tod"s wife here cheering him on. C"mon Tod! \o/

I know v little about poker, starting to feel I know more about the offside rule, particularly when explained through the metaphor of shoe shopping!  :)

Gareth Johns chip leader

Tod Wood shot him the filthiest look since Rupert Murdoch video-conferenced Andy Gray when Gareth called all the way with K-5 on 2-3-J-4 blind on blind and then rivered the A and had a 3,000 value bet paid off by Tod

Steve raise to 3k, Ben declares allin from the small blind.

Steve flips a coin, then declares call.

Steve has AQ

Ben has 99

Board comes 3 K J  6   6

Ben doubles up to 24k

Steve Wintersgill shoves for 3.5k two hands later.

Runs into the pocket aces of Dave Howard.

No help for Steve, and we are down to 7 players.

Double up for Tod Wood.

Allin in two hands in a row, gets a caller second time from Dave Howard.

Tod - KQ

Dave - 99

Board comes K T Q   3   6

Tod stack now around 24k

Dave Howard is allin, Max Kruis is allin from the small blind.

Ian Thompson has a big decision in the big blind, eventually folds.

Dave has 7 3

Max has A 3

Board comes J T 4   A  Q

And we lose Dave Howard, so are down to 6 players.
