WSOPE leaves London and UK
« on: February 09, 2011, 14:53:19 PM »
There will be some changes for the next WSOPE. Heard that there was a press conference and Caesar"s Games and Lucien Barrier Group announced that next WSOPE is in Cannes / FRANCE.

Would be a blow for London, but in saying that September was always a ridiculously busy month for poker in London.

Crazy decision to move it. The fact that london was busy during this time of year with the EPT and EPO also, goes to show how many pros loved going over there for the whole month, also the televised cash games will be missed, like the million dollar challenge.

Can"t understand their decision, but I guess it was in reason of a lot of money. Casino Barriere de Cannes Croisette was not home of Partouche Poker Tour. Sorry, had to correct this posting! ;)
