The answer to both of those questions are related to the limitations of the BSQ software.  Which is why the T & C"s clearly state the prize pool will be as per the APAT forum and that there would be a scenario where 30 would be paid, or 40 - depending on entries.  It is the same rule for everyone and it was known prior to entry so no point worrying about it now.
