Does anyone know where to get the information for buying in to this event or when you can buy in to it?

Buyin will be available via 888poker lobby.  Seats will go on sale somewhere around the 1st July.

Well I"ve started a 888 poker account & I will be buying a seat but I know these events are very popular so in the event I don"t get my seat online I"ll be showing up at the venue to buy in direct if this is allowed ??

Last season APAT ran an alternates list at each venue, so you can turn up on the day and have your fingers crossed.

You also have the sats to the live events and the seat exchange before, what i would deem a last resort, turning up at the venue in hope.

I"ll be trying all these routes thanks. I just think that this event gives the average Joe in the street a chance to get quality poker tournament experience for less than 100 bucks!!

I am keen to play this event but I am unable and also unwilling to deposit on an account at 888. Is there a way to direct buy in @ the casino in advance of the tourney?

you can not buy-in  in advance  you can put your name down on the day on the alternate list and hope someone gets knocked out in i think the first 3 levels so get yourself down there early and name on the list as not that many people get knocked out that early
