Home Internationals - Scotland A & B
« on: March 23, 2011, 08:59:13 AM »
Captains for the Scotland teams in the UK & Ireland Home International Team Championship have been chosen as myself and Louis Manson (honeybadg).

It is a great honour to have been asked to take on this role and I am sure I speak for both of us when I say that we will do everything we can to do Scotland and APAT proud.

The event is new for Season 5 and if previuos team events are anything to go by then this promises to be a cracker!

If you would like to be considered for the Scotland team, and can be available on the 21st and 22nd of April in Newcastle, then please PM myself and Louis.

Congratulations to both of you, I will look forward to playing against the Scots team and meeting back up with everybody and having a great weekend (as per usual at APAT events).

Congratulations both. Stuart I"ve seen a bit of lately and would class as a gentleman of the first order. Louis I"ve yet to meet but look forward to putting that right in Newcastle.

Good luck Scotland.

Woulda thought the details would be helpful in deciding whether one would like to take part as opposed to, lets put teams together then decide how we are gonna play it.

A proposal is with my colleagues

At this stage, think along the lines of a WCOAP format and you"ll be near enough

the WCOAP plays two rounds each of SNGs and HUs so four sessions of poker over two days

Buy in will be sub three figures, I think, per person

Clarity asap
