Winners of the Home Internationals team Championship on Friday night and now the winner of the UK Amateur Championships today

Another great four days of poker.

A huge thankyou goes to Craig, Gary and all the team at Aspers, Newcastle.  This is fast becoming one of my most favourite venues in the UK.  A superb setup, which makes for an awesome weekend.

Well done to all that cashed.  The guys have done Wales proud again over the four days.  Winning the team event, then a bunch of them running deep in the main event, all finishing with Ben Young becoming the first APAT member to win two National Championship events.

Awesome stuff from Ben. The guys will to win was there for all to see with some seemingly marginal calls and very aggressive plays.

I remember his commentary during the CoC in Bolton and it was a superb poker lesson.

He certainly has the game to kick on here at the highest level.

Gutted to bubble yet another medal but delighted to finish 4th considering my stack at the start of the day and start of the final table.
