A staggering achievement for Ben, well done to him.

Well done to all those who cashed, especially those from Team Luton.
All we need to do now is move some of these "great venues" to the South East!

I have to say I totally agree with this. Even just one down this way would be nice.  ;D

Do they not then?  I"m genuinely interested because I don"t play live round my area so have no idea.

A great weekend again, not sure how Tighty and Leigh do it time after time. The APAT crowd were fantastic as always, although I am not a fan of 4:30am starts for the journey home. Well done to everybody who cashed and those who won medals.

Can"t really add anymore to what everybody has said about Ben, but the rest of us probably shouldn"t worry too much. I mean of the four he"s played there were two he didn"t win.

Just got home after another fantastic APAT weekend (sponsored by  8c 8d 8s).

Thanks as always to Tighty and Leigh for yet another quality event in every respect and also to Quasar, Mair, Pables, Waz, Fandangoo, Don the Hammer and Delboy for their kind support.

Thanks also to Aspers for hosting the event, all the dealers, valets and locals made us all feel very welcome.

Finally congratualtions to Ben for making a little bit of APAT history in taking down his 2nd title. He is lovely lad, fantastic player and a worthy champion IMO. Let"s hope this propells him to greater (if there are any!!!) things to come :)

Bring on Cardiff ;D

Great job all those involved in organising this.

Also huge congrats to the (2x) winner. Very impressive.

(I"m still working on being a (2x) day two player.)

The short(ish) answer is..."No"...unless someone knows different.

The requirements are such that finding a venue is quite difficult. This has been covered a number of times before but I know that the APAT team are more than interested in being kept informed of potential venues by locals.

London can be done, The Vic for example, or even in a hotel I know the owner of. The International might be able to cope now (but the regularly run £100+ and might not be interested). The Fox I think isn"t big enough unfortunately.
