Just discovered my new work Blackberry has twitter app so now have yearly average back up to 1  

Added a whole bunch of the above this morning and might give this a go.

I suggested this sometime ago.

My general idea was to add a hashtag (#apatvegas) to tweets which can then be easily searched for rather than having to trawls through dozens (if not hundreds) of tweets to find out what is going on.

I believe this will work even if you don"t follow the tweeter in question.

I opened an account a while ago, then lost interest but now I"m back into it and "getting" it a bit more (@jpround if you want to follow) largely thanks to this thread, ta.

The reason for this post is that when I typed in Des Duffy to find and follow the great man himself, underneath his account was section "Similar to Des Duffy" with 1 result... Robbie Savage!?!  

In what way is Des like Robbie?

A rampant hooligan on the footy pitch?
An early "Metrosexual"?
Talks a lot of b****** on 5Live?
Once substituted during a League cup final with phlegm all over his face on National TV?

Anyway, why not follow me? Apart from playing some online qualifying tournaments I am also going to be playing the Golieth and hopefully the APAT Worlds too which I will be tweeting about. Some other random things may pop in now and again but I"m not planning to be a total twitterholic!

I"m in Day 1C for Goliath which is on the Friday, if I"m out on day one I can try for  APAT alternates seat on Saturday/Sunday... If I make Goliath Day 2, I can try for APAT alternates seat on Sunday... If I make the Final Table of Goliath then I"ll be a very happy man  

Or I may just buy a seat for Sunday, if I don"t get there I"m sure it won"t be hard to sell

I have gone from one extreme to the other, not knowing anything about twitter to following dozens of poker people.

After returning to this thread I am now following a few Apat players - swinebag, chipaccrual, fatcatstu, ThinkerJE, kinboshi, gb2loose, Tighty, jpround, fandango  and a few others

I hope to learn some interesting stuff
