yeah poor turnout, maybe reaction to last night

Or perhaps a reaction to the fact that Glasgow is a long way away for most! Having said that, I"ll be there.

Certainly my reason for not playing it. Would be a 5 hour drive (at least) and can"t get the Friday or Monday off. Shame as i"d love to play it and to visit Glasgow. Probably going to play the £100 10k guaranteed at Walsall that weekend instead.

Perfectly understandable - sometimes people have seen James Bond in a casino wearing a dinner jacket & bowtie and think that is compulsory. It isn"t - a normal suit and tie is totally acceptable nowadays.

There will be a Player briefing on the forum in the week beforehand that answers all this

for now 2.30pm start Saturday. No need to be there before 2pm

dress code/photo ID has been answered

Re: the stampede at 9pm on Thursday. I might not be in, but have the flight and hotel all booked up. I sense that this year one can register the next day and still get in (not like the old "clickfests"), although I think the capacity for the Glasgow event is smaller.

Views?

On the evidence of previous events this season you are right

Tricky to say, only 120 capacity at Glasgow. Meant to be lots of local interest

I would imagine you"d have 48 hours or so to buy in, if I had to put my left leg on the outcome

Satellites are now all live for Glasgow.  If you win a seat, I will add your name to the list in this thread.  You will not be added to the holding tank on 888poker.  Any problems with this, just drop me a message.

You will also see the Direct Buyin Holding Tank in the Lobby.  This will become available for registration from 9pm on Thursday 7th July.

Bold above - not true! So there"s actually only 81 seats on sale tonight. Yikes!

Yep,  after four events, they"ve decided to put satellite winners straight into the holding tank.  I"ve requested the holding tank cap to increase, which should happen in the next 24hrs.  My life would be boring if eveything didn"t keep changing.  ;D

Correct.  Holding tank should open for reg at 9pm, and you just click to register.

If it is anything other than that, I will be unavailable for the rest of the night, having gone for a long walk off a short pier.
