Or perhaps a reaction to the fact that Glasgow is a long way away for most! Having said that, I"ll be there.

Certainly my reason for not playing it. Would be a 5 hour drive (at least) and can"t get the Friday or Monday off. Shame as i"d love to play it and to visit Glasgow. Probably going to play the £100 10k guaranteed at Walsall that weekend instead.

hi im new and never played an event, im from london just wonder what is the dress code? and what id do i need bring? as i only have drivers licence but no passport, what time do you recomend we get there for the main event?

Perfectly understandable - sometimes people have seen James Bond in a casino wearing a dinner jacket & bowtie and think that is compulsory. It isn"t - a normal suit and tie is totally acceptable nowadays.

There will be a Player briefing on the forum in the week beforehand that answers all this

Re: the stampede at 9pm on Thursday. I might not be in, but have the flight and hotel all booked up. I sense that this year one can register the next day and still get in (not like the old "clickfests"), although I think the capacity for the Glasgow event is smaller.

Tricky to say, only 120 capacity at Glasgow. Meant to be lots of local interest

Yep,  after four events, they"ve decided to put satellite winners straight into the holding tank.  I"ve requested the holding tank cap to increase, which should happen in the next 24hrs.  My life would be boring if eveything didn"t keep changing.
