How many teams have registered so far? If you"re struggling for entrants, I think Bristol Meetup Group can probably get 2 teams together if needed.

thanks but we are looking oversubscribed

(subtext, one Bristol team is sufficient LOL)

TKP pls. Forum to follow

Orange army are taking the NPF down innit ;o)

xx

Irene, we"ll take a Sky Poker team I would think, not a new forum representing one of the team groupings within Sky Poker

It is an event likely to be oversubscribed, so its "whole" forums only

Hey Tighty!

Sigh, it sure looks like a "whole" forum, if a little new!

http://teamkp.freeforums.org/index.php

To be fair although we all play on Sky everyone plays elsewhere too. We wanted to apply as TKP, in our own right. As I understand it Sky will not be entering a team this year.

Are you telling us not to apply as it would be a waste of time? If thats the case will it be the same every year? I would apprecite some feedback dear so we know what to aim for. Can you please send me a list or a link as to what the basic forum entry criteria is please? I"m not trying to be difficult, it"s just disappointing considering how much work has been put in by the team to try and get a place this year.

xx

Irene

We have a precedent here of not allowing forums specifically created to get a group of people into this event (last year) to enter.

Places are at a premium and its unlikely we"d remove an established forum for a new team made up of a brand new forum. Criteria include support of APAT in the past, likely support of APAT in the future etc etc

Sky Poker has a vibrant and active forum which I am sure we would like to participate, TKP is part of that forum. Persuade them to enter a team, and you be that team!

If you have applied for a team in this event but have not posted on this thread please do so

With leigh"s departure, and not wanting to bother him, I would like to ensure that no team falls through the cracks

thanks

LBPN have Pmd our details to Leigh for consideration, way back when. Having had a FT representative at the last two team events I hope you will look favourably on our application. Cheers.

The reason that we moved this event was due to having several away legs in the second half of this season.  So for example we have legs in Ireland, USA, Czech Republic in addition to a pro-am.  To have the UK Team event in January would have meant a lot of our regular players not getting a game between the WCOAP ending and the end of January.

It"s also been moved closer to London so as to prefer the current champions!  ;D

Or Not.
