Just got home after a two hr tilt filled drive.
Wanna say what a great event it was and was cool to meet so many peeps for the first time

I cruised the first 12 levels, never dropping below ave until getting into a ~150k pot with  :as: ks vs  kh jd aipf
Flop was a kind  ts 5s 7d and my 93% chance of a top 10 stack into day 2 seemed likely until the  jh (mmm 2outet ftl) hit the turn. I couldnt rebink my 30% with any A, Q or spade and busted

Pretty gutted, a 3rd Hendon mob entry in a 10 day poker slog would have been the icing on the cake, but ce la vie.

Good luck to those left and I look forward to battling with u all again on the live or virtual felt!

IMO shocking scam to keep you in DTD for food/drinks. Where was the dinner break? I know peeps that were waiting for food over 45 mins then it was served up cold whats all that about?

Now I know why the staff at DTD get food discounts at other outlets on the complex!!!!

Other people had issues re the skinny breaks re hotel check ins. Please take into account we are all not regs who play every APAT (would like to but work etc blah blah)and take a 5 day w/e to play.

I played 10 hours of poker yesterday on a packet of crisps during play n a sarni for breakie b4 I started. THIS IS NOT GOOD. And If im honest I find eating at the table bloody rood anyhow.

I know DTD wont stop eating at the tables but for us who want a decent meal can we have a 45/60 min break in 12 hours next time please? Is this really too much to ask?

Rant over

Please god, never ever ever ever have a 45/60 min break.  I died a little inside everytime there was a 25min break today.

I had a "proper" meal @ 1.30pm which lasted me fine, also during breaks I saw plenty of people in there cars eating a packed lunch, (wish I had thought of that).  Surely u only having a sarnie and crisps, is only one persons fault and its not APAT or DTD?

I would like 10-12 hours of poker in a dedicated cardroom, not loads of long drawn out breaks, Is this really too much to ask?

Rant over.

ps keep up the good work APAT, and DTD.  See u @ the Omaha

Great couple of days with the APAT crew as ever, all started very promising up to 31k in first level knocking out first casualty Harry Briggs with his KK v my A4 on 4/4/7 flop. Then spent 5 levels on a downward spiral missing my hole cards - AQ losing to 2/3 or hitting and getting binked - A10 (10 high board losing to 4/5 ( 2 pair on river  >:( ). Also with open end straight draw on flop and flush draw on turn hit my flush and found Linda Iwaniak with bigger flush, just sigh lol. Final nail at end of level 9 was one of real justice, shoving my A4 into QQ, hit A on flop and got 4 flushed  :D
One of those days but now onwards to the Omaha later. Good luck to those in the ME 2nd day, I"ll be railing from somewhere in the DTD building with interest. Particular good wishes to anyone I know, especially Ian Burnett, Gordon McArthur, Big Redders, Tim etc. Jealous I won"t be joining you all :P

I was also disappointed at the lack of a 45-60 minute meal break as I hate eating at the table. Having said that, if it is a choice between keeping the 15k starting stack and 15 min breaks or losing chips and/or levels, then I vote keep the structure as-is.....it is superb!

What a strange day for me, i was on table 31 seat 5 and was dealt poket aces FIVE times, but i got these in the first three levels so when i got paid off the first time ( v kings) everyone folded after that. When i got other big hands like ak suited or queens i got beat by straights and flushes lol. What was even stranger was that one all in was Ceri Rees v Kam Lee.... guess what, aces v aces and to put the icing on the cake, pocket aces were dealt NINE times before the table broke up. In the end i went out when my ak lost to 99s. I finished in 125th but i forgot to tell Tighty and Leigh at the update table so sorry about that guys. Brilliant days poker at DTD and a well run tourney. The 25 minute break was about right as i had a pack lunch in my car but i was rushed when it were 15 mins. I understand due to the numbers and the structure so people need to prepare better if they know that there going to be hungry for 10 hours as DTD cant cook for 200 lol. Good luck to Tom Stannard who was on my table and doing well, will go far and he got aces too lol  :)
