We are still second in the league, so need everyone to play.

At the break, RedAxeWound was 2nd, andantemoto 5th and me 7th - all bar one still in.

I"ve down to 18th and that"s our lot. We have 4 of 32 left, but mostly well-placed. Another nail-biter on the way.

No sooner posted than I"m out. Reraised with KK, called by JJ and she caught a J.

Weee, all in pre with TT. Flop a set on AT9, shame I"m vs AA.

And Marian smashes MattBlue to go back into 3rd (Colin still 9th).

And while I"m typing she takes down two more pots, one for 3.5k and moves into 2nd place.

Unfortunately it is now almost midnight, and Marian was due to have her cocoa and go to bed an hour ago. Can we resume tomorrow, say 10.30am?

Oh dear, bad times. Dave loses a huge pot to a better kicker, closely followed by Marian, who has destroyer all-in with KT v her AdKd. He gets a T, she gets two diamonds, he wins, she says "nh" and he has the nerve to say "ty" - lol.

Yikes - it"s suckout hour.

Ger raises to 2.2k in EP with AQ, Marian shoves Qs8s for 7k and makes a flush. Then Ger hits a 3 on the river with K3 against Dave"s A2. Next Ger shoves 33 into Colin"s Q2 and Colin doubles up. All 3 hands AIPF.

While I"m typing, Dave & Marian, who had both been badly damaged, are both back up to 3rd & 4th. Colin still there too. 12 left.

Marian seems to think the team prize is in the bag, first stealing short-stacked Colin"s BB, then min-reraising Dave pre-flop and then AIPF against Colin, though luckily Colin won and doubled up. It"s never smooth on the Solent team - we always get all-in against each other. Just don"t accuse us of soft-play - I wish we did!
