Just something I remembered reading about Caesars (And I understand lots of poker rooms) regarding speech and phones etc etc..  That there are rules in these poker rooms that we may not be used to. Maybe someone who has played there recently can confirm, just so none of us fall foul of these rules.

I understand that speech play is not allowed in a hand, for example, cant sit there asking an opposing player, have you got a pair, do you want a caller etc.?

Also, mobile phone rules, I have heard that if you start playign with phones, dealer insta-mucks you?

Andy any others that we should be aware of.

Maybe someone can specifically get the Caesars rules that we as APAT players would not be used to, or, are APAT having APAT rules?

www.rooms-direct.co.uk if you want some discount email me and tell me you are from APAT.

For those interested, indirect flights are about £400pp from London, £475pp from Glasgow and £415pp from Manchester.

£382 from Manchester with US airways on various dates. Not as cheap as I"ve ever had, but pretty good!

Wow feeling v. jealous now, must admit to the news making me very distracted at work,  surfing airline web sites to see if my various FF miles can get me out there.

How to get time off work though, might be a series of WAH days (long distance)  ;)

personally i hope the answer is yes. Not sure how the locals signing up can be vetted for pro status so excluding one of our own would feel wrong to me. I know rules are rules and this is just my opinion.

If Rich isn"t allowed to play how are we going to ensure Amercian pros don"t?

Personnaly I think it should be an open event to remove the risk.
