Just something I remembered reading about Caesars (And I understand lots of poker rooms) regarding speech and phones etc etc..  That there are rules in these poker rooms that we may not be used to. Maybe someone who has played there recently can confirm, just so none of us fall foul of these rules.

I understand that speech play is not allowed in a hand, for example, cant sit there asking an opposing player, have you got a pair, do you want a caller etc.?

Also, mobile phone rules, I have heard that if you start playign with phones, dealer insta-mucks you?

Andy any others that we should be aware of.

Maybe someone can specifically get the Caesars rules that we as APAT players would not be used to, or, are APAT having APAT rules?

From what I understand...similar to WSOP rules....no texting/usage if you have a hand -- you"ll receive a warning, after that your hand is dead. Phone calls at least a table length away from the table. Speech -- only heads up, and you can not say what you have in your hand or reveal any cards to get a read.

Can I play?  :o

Contact me privately and explain your current situation Rich....

Self-police!

If Rich isn"t allowed to play how are we going to ensure Amercian pros don"t?

Personnaly I think it should be an open event to remove the risk.

This!

Don"t know why he asked though, Rich"ll never get up for 1pm!!!

Had kinda mentally given up on this ( apologies guys ) but really is suitably epic news. I can only imagine the jolt felt by our poor unfortunate non travelling Apat brothers and sisters.

Since I"m staying at Ceasars, I would like to complain about the ridiculous distance from my room to the cardroom. ::) It"s probably further than the hike from Aspers to the hellhole FrankieB booked for me in Swansea ;D  ;D

Oh and lest I forget, IN

Depends on which tower you are in Brendan but for some it"s likely true!!

That hellhole is a very nice establishment, reasonably priced, a great location, very good breakfast, the owner and his son could not be more friendly. What more could you ask for? Caesars Palace?

What money??

The $$$ I have, I have because I don"t take taxis everywhere. Wait; isn"t there a free shuttle between CET properties?

Sorry....walk south down to the Flamingo (Margaritaville) and cross the road (closest to Poker room) or keep going down to Bills and take the bridge across for a nice breakfast at Serendipity 3 before the off.
