This is an odd one and we"re going to add $500 to the prize pool, in place of any add on seat.  APAT will pay the cardroom in advance of the event.

Cheers Des.

...and early reg?

We"re working on the detail with Caesars Palace now and should be able to answer that one tomorrow, but I"m hoping to open it up immediately, reserving our seats ahead.

I didn"t see this on 888 Poker to Register so do you just show up at Caesars and pay the $135 saying your a member or pre reg here?  Any info would be great thanks

When: Saturday 19th November and Sunday 20th November 2011

Where: Caesars Palace Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

Start: 1pm local both days

Buy In: $120 NLHE Freezeout with the APAT National structure

APAT Members will pay $135 on the day to include all dealers tips, cocktail waitress service etc

APAT will pay the registration fee for APAT members travelling across

Des Duffy will be your APAT host for the two days

As APAT needs to fund the registration fees in advance, the next step is for all of the APAT travellers going across to confirm they wish to play.

Please do so on this thread.

Many thanks to Jim"ll fix it for being Go-between. Many thanks to Caesars Palace for hosting.

The tournament is about to commence, good luck to you all.....

Delighted that Des is attended but won"t be the same without Tighty.

Can I ask the reason why not Rich?

If it is expense for the sponsor then I for one would be happy to chip in to a fund and I"m sure others would join me.

That is a nice thought, thank you, but there really is no need.

It was always planned to be a one staff-person event for expense reasons and I asked Des to do the event for me as I don"t have the resources currently to do the trip justice, expenses aside.

Please get Tighty to add me to the "pre-register" list, real name is Neil M Nicklin (from Doncaster), was looking at a tournament schedule for Vegas when I got the email from APAT, if the structure is the same as the DTD one it will be excellent, other than a bubble hopefully this will be fourth time lucky!

I am sure I will recognise some of the UK players, will be nice to see someone familiar, having a "poker holiday" on my own for two weeks while the wife is cruising with her mum.

See you at Caesars, which coincidently is my favourite hotel and poker room.

I completely agree.....I"ll chip in towards a flight & more.

Call it a "thank you" to Tighty for all the hard work from the membership.

Don"t let Tighty be bashful and let"s bully him into it.

Direct - £590 BA between 17th and 22nd Nov or £570 Virgin between 16th Nov and 22nd Nov.

Indirect - £355 US Airways (caveat is that the outgoing flight is 2 changes, return is bog-standard one change) Looking at over £450 for a one change both ways flight.

You can all bully me to go as well, if you like ;)

But a worthy idea nonetheless
