What is the longest "dwell" in poker history?
« on: November 03, 2011, 15:22:18 PM »
I don"t know the answer - but did play with a guy who made a micro raise into a sizable pot before passing out.

We refunded all the bets - but what would the correct action be here?

It was a very odd hand I should have given more detail.

I think it was 25p/50p - UTG the soon to be passed out player raises to £7 - he gets three callers including myself - last to act.

He then bets £1.50 into the pot and collapses - so we have three players to act - I didn"t have a killer hand - going by reactions nor did anyone else - but after 10 mins with him on the deck we called it a dead hand and split the pot back out.

Andy Overton pushes the boundaries every time he plays. But he does have a lot to think about. Does a flush beat a straight etc.

I think you"re vastly overestimating my thinking process. I"m usually just thinking about boobs.

You see. There"s a hell of a lot to consider. I don"t have time for all this fancy "does a flush beat a straight" nonsense! Just think about boobs for a bit then if you fancy a gamble stick all your chips in the middle, see what happens.

I feel sick. Now I realise where I"ve been going wrong. This is exactly why forums are such a good thing. Nuggets of information like this are just golden. TYVM Andy, will give it a go.

PS Don"t tell everyone they"ll all be doing it  ;)
