Details for the UK Team Championship 2020 are below – questions/comments etc on the weekend of events should be sent by PM to myself HERE or via Facebook Messenger HERE.
ON SATURDAY FROM 12:00 ALL TEAM PHOTOS WILL BE TAKEN BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT – PLEASE THEREFORE ARRIVE AT 12:00, OR 12:30 AT THE LATEST, TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AND TO ENSURE THE EVENT STARTS ON TIME – IT DOES USUALLY TAKE AROUND 1.5 HOURS – SO PLEASE DO ARRIVE EARLY SO WE DON’T DELAY THE START

ALL Side Events are open to ANY poker player, whether playing in the Championship Event or not.
Teams wear their own matching colour team shirts for both days of the event – if desired, team shirts are available via APAT at a subsidised cost of £15 per shirt (reduced from £18) and have the APAT logo and UK Team Championship 2020 event details. Additional wording, team logos etc may be added (for an additional cost). To order send a PM to myself via HERE or via Facebook Messenger HERE. Shirts ordered via APAT will be available from the Friday night in DTD.
UK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, 1ST-2ND FEB 2020
The UK Team Championship will take place at the home of UK poker, Dusk Till Dawn (DTD) on Saturday 1st Feb/Sunday 2nd Feb 2020.
We look forward to hosting all those playing over the weekend, with a full schedule of side events, and we will be providing a full player tracking and ongoing team score updating service throughout the Main Event, and a live update/blog with pictures via the APAT Website/Forum.
The table draw/seating plan will be available via the APAT Forum around one week prior.

All players must be a member of DTD, and hold an active Party Poker Live online poker account, both of which are free – photo ID in the form of a passport or driving licence is needed to confirm membership at DTD. If you already have an active membership of DTD then you need to bring your membership card to use at the reception desk to gain entry each day. If not a member of DTD, or you are unsure as to having an ‘active membership’, then you should ensure you bring either your passport or your driving licence as failure to turn up with either will mean you will not be allowed to enter the venue.
Free parking is available at DTD.
DTD will be open as follows:
Fri 31st – from 7pm
Sat 1st – from 12 noon
Sun 2nd – from 12 noon
APAT Weekend Schedule Of Events
Players are NOT required to register for the Championship Event at the venue – ALL players MUST pre-register via the Party Poker Live Online Holding Tank BEFORE 5th Jan 2020 – details of when the holding tank will open, and how to navigate to the event to register and buy in, will be confirmed ASAP.
All players’ chip stacks will go into play at the start of the event, whether you are in your seat or not, and when not in your seat you will be blinded out accordingly. However, we ask that you please be seated 5 minutes prior to the event advertised start time, which is 14:00.

Prizes
The winner(s) of the Championship Event, the UK Team Championship, will be:
Team: The event will run as a normal MTT, and team points will be scored based on each individual members’ finishing positions, and will start to be earned on Day 2 by all remaining players on a ‘reverse position’ scoring – eg; 60th wins 1 point, 1st wins 60 points.
Individual: individual finishing position
This event awards APAT Championship Medals – top 3 teams and top 3 individuals.
The highest placed teams and individuals will be paid as follows:
Top 5 Teams (total prize paid to Team Captains):
Champions & Gold Medalists: £7,000 (£875pp) – guaranteed a place in the UK Team Championship 2021
Silver Medalists: £4,800 (£600pp) – guaranteed a place in the UK Team Championship 2021
Bronze Medalists: £3,200 (£400pp) – guaranteed a place in the UK Team Championship 2021
4th placed: £1,600 (£200pp)
5th placed: £1,400 (£175pp)
Top 9 Individuals:
Gold Medalist: £1,700 – their ‘team’ are guaranteed a place in the UK Team Championship 2021 (if not winning a team medal)
Silver Medalist: £1,250
Bronze Medalist: £900
4th placed: £650
5th placed: £450
6th placed: £350
7th placed: £275
8th placed: £225
9th placed: £200
The APAT Championship Event does NOT facilitate deals. APAT Side Event deals are possible only under the control of the venue/APAT.
Live Updates
A live update/blog will be provided with player pictures, chip counts and “team leaderboard” throughout the weekend via the APAT website/forum.
Feel free to tell your friends and family, who can follow your progress on the APAT forum – guests will need to register as a member on the forum to see pictures from the event and to post on the forum – member registration is free.
