Niall Farrell Wins EPT Malta Main Event
Congratulations to former APAT main event winner Niall Farrell, who has just won the main event of the Malta leg of the European Poker Tour. The Scot went one better than APAT Pro League winner Steve Warburton, who finished runner up at the previous leg of the EPT in Barcelona last month.
Farrell; who took APAT Gold by winning the individual title at the 2011 888poker UK Amateur Team Championship, in addition to Silver with his team Blackbelt Poker, won €534k for his career best win in Malta.
Niall becomes the latest in an illustrious list of players who have made the final table of an APAT National Championship event and subsequently gone on to win a globally recognised professional title.
