UK Team Championship 25/26 Feb 2023 @ DTD
APAT next return to live action with our ever-popular UK Team Championship over the weekend of Friday 24th February 2023 at the home of UK poker, Dusk Till Dawn.
Whilst we will host side event action in the days preceding, the Main Event will play out on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th.
UK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 – TEAM APPLICATIONS
The UK Team Championship is an invitation only event, and interested poker clubs, forums, societies, leagues, groups and communities etc need to register interest in entering a team by the deadline Sunday 11th December 2022 via any of the following means:

In the event of teams being oversubscribed, a ballot with a reserve waiting list will be held.
Team Captains need to confirm their team member names by Fri 23rd December 2022 at the latest (direct to myself).
Teams consist of 8 players each who will compete for both a team and an individual prize pool in the UK Team Championship, which will be run as a regular 2-Day MTT and entry is £100 + £20 per player. This will be required to be paid in advance by Sunday 15th January 2023 at the latest by each INDIVIDUAL player, coordinated between myself and all Team Captains.
The total prize pool will be paid out on a 75/25 basis to the top 5 teams and the top 9 individual players from the MTT, with the top 3 teams winning the coveted APAT Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals, along with the top 3 individuals.
Points will be scored based on individual player finishing positions, and will start to be earned on Day 2 by all remaining players on a ‘reverse position’ scoring eg 75th wins 1 point, 1st wins 75 points.
As usual, teams are to wear their own matching colour team shirts for both days of the event – if desired, printed team t-shirts or polo shirts are available via APAT for £15 per t-shirt or £18 per polo shirt, which includes the APAT logo and UK Team Championship event details and team name printed on the front – further graphics and logos etc are all possible to be printed anywhere on the shirt but may attract an additional cost depending on requirements.
This event always sees huge demand, and we are expecting similar interest this year. The event has also on occasion previously suffered from “team last minute dropouts”, and therefore, as we did previously, we will again retain a reserve list and any team not meeting the buy-in deadline of 15th January (all 8 members) will have their team entry offered to teams on the reserve list, and any team that pays the full buyins and has a last minute need to drop out will have their buyins reimbursed by the new Team Captain.
The UK Team Championship is an OPEN event – ie open to ANY poker player, and the weekend supporting events are open to ANY individual player whether they play in the UK Team Championship or not.
