Sorry to sound naive but can any group of 10 players register for this tourney?

my mates and I are looking to play and any advice would be welcome...

Im afraid you have missed the boat for this one Antnix. Event is now full with 20 teams and 200 players.

How soon do these events fill up? Do you have to book very early?

This particular event is a little out of the ordinary, in that it is/was open to poker forums. Each forum nominating a captain and picking a team of ten.

Entry into the more normal national events can be gained in one of three ways:

1. Finish in the top 10% of one of the regional tournaments.

2. Finish in a qualifying spot in one of the online qualifiers.

3. Take part in the "clickfest" when seats go on sale via the website.

All methods of entry are advertised on the website, and threads about each method can be found on the forum.

Anyway, welcome to APAT, and good luck in securing a seat at future events - you"ll have a ball if successful.
